In 2023 and 2024, INQAKU hosted a series of impactful MYSAFA workshops across Gauteng, North West, and Limpopo, training more than 360 football administrators. Additional virtual sessions extended support to club, school, and SAFA administrators nationwide.
These workshops were designed to equip local football leaders with essential skills to grow and manage their clubs, leagues, and Local Football Associations (LFAs). The training focused on key areas such as player registration, fixture management, digital reporting, and system compliance — all delivered through the MYSAFA platform.
Importantly, the sessions encouraged open dialogue, offering participants a platform to share challenges, insights, and best practices. Attendees praised INQAKU’s practical, hands-on approach and ongoing support. Currently, INQAKU’s support and development teams handle over 1,500 MYSAFA-related queries monthly, providing expert assistance to SAFA members across the country.
Mr. Thomas Tjale, REO of the Bojanala Region, shared his thoughts:
"I'm really pleased to see this happening. It's a great initiative that brings much-needed support to football administrators. One area I would recommend focusing on further is the appointment of match officials and the reporting process."
Mr. Sello Ramabya, General Secretary of the Tshwane Regional Football Association, highlighted the impact in his region:
"The MYSAFA workshop held in SAFA Tshwane, led by INQAKU’s team, was highly informative. As a result, 100% of local clubs can now independently handle registrations, including the new self-registration process. The user-friendly system has simplified both registration and competition management, while the introduction of MyVerifier has significantly reduced cheating."
Mr. Tebogo Mahoa, SAFA Ekurhuleni REO, said:
"The roadshow came at a time when I was still familiarising myself with the system, so the timing was impeccable. It was a truly fruitful workshop—I learned so much from just one session. The delivery of the presentation, along with Mr. Shane Felix's patience and passion, was a joy to witness. He simplified everything for us, and most importantly, made us enjoy working on the system. We walked away more confident and inspired."
Mr. Colin Jones, CEO of Johannesburg FA, expressed appreciation for the workshop’s delivery and outcomes:
"The 2023 MYSAFA workshop was a great success. Attendees received a clear and informative overview of the platform, and all questions were effectively addressed. As a result, LFAs are now confidently and fully operating the MYSAFA portal. We extend our sincere thanks to Mr. Shane Felix and his team for their excellent work."
