As the countdown to AFCON 2025 and the FIFA World Cup 2026 begins, our national superstars, Bafana Bafana, are gearing up to set the stage alight! Their journey is a story of passion, discipline, and teamwork — a true reflection of the dedication shown by their coaches, management teams, and players over the past two years. Together, they’ve lifted the standards and reignited the dream of seeing South Africa shine on the world stage once again. At Inqaku, we’re especially proud to celebrate the grassroots beginnings of many of these Bafana Bafana players. Twenty of the current 48-man squad first registered their football journeys through the MYSAFA platform— Africa’s first FIFA-endorsed player registration and competition management tool, developed and managed by Inqaku. These success stories remind us that every professional player starts with a dream — and that dream often begins at local fields and community leagues across South Africa. To name a few rising stars who started on MYSAFA: •Oswin Appolis – Cape Town Spurs | ABC Motsepe League 2017/18 •Mbekezeli Mbokazi – Makhasa FC | MRL Umkanyakude League 2022/23 •Mohau Nkota – Sol University | MRL Frances Baard League 2020/21 •Relebohile Mofokeng – School of Excellence | GDL U15 2018 •Samukele Kabini – University of Pretoria | GDL U17 2020 •Ime Okon – Florida Albion | Jowest LFA League 2018 •Khulumani Ndamane – FC Drakensberg | MRL Uthukela League 2020/21 These players are proof that with structure, opportunity, and perseverance, South African football can continue to produce world-class talent. At Inqaku, we remain committed to building digital systems that support player development from grassroots to greatness.
